+ Brand Identity [Design Exploration]
The design process for Snakeoil Coffee Company was an exploration of energy, and a unique blend of modern and retro aesthetics. The client sought a brand that would stand out in the saturated coffee market, radiating a vibrant and lively personality. This brand, Snakeoil, was not just about coffee; it was about creating an experience that would resonate with a newer generation of coffee drinkers.
Conceptualization + Design
Drawing inspiration from eclectic sources, initial ideas were crafted to encapsulate the essence of the brand. Elements from both modern design trends and nostalgic aesthetics, reminiscent of retro coffee shops, were curated. The juxtaposition of bold, contemporary visuals with retro color palettes began to form the basis of Snakeoil's unique design language.
To capture the dynamic personality of Snakeoil, a vibrant color palette emerged. Rich earthy tones, reminiscent of retro aesthetics, were paired with bold, modern hues, creating a visually striking combination. Typography played a crucial role, with fonts carefully chosen to reflect the brand's energetic yet approachable vibe.
